This coaling crane is a typical model in terms of its design, having been used in this or a very similar form in well-known railway depots. Even today, coaling cranes of this type are still in operation on many heritage railways. This model of the coaling crane is therefore universally applicable. It consists of a masonry base with a side staircase to the platform made of real wood. The crane cab is octagonal in wood and can be rotated 360 degrees. It has a crane boom that can be raised and lowered. The crane hook has a delicate metal link chain. The chain is movably mounted and leads out through an opening on the underside of the base. The crane hook can be moved by pulling the chain. It comes with a coal hoist for attachment.
All wooden parts are pre-painted. Can be illuminated with Busch LEDs 5998. Kit. The coal hopper consists of a base plate and a perfect replica of rusted T-beams, into whose profiles the 36 logs made of real wood are loosely inserted as walls.
