BUSCH 1005 - Gas Station

Kit for a gas station from the 1950s. Due to the modern architecture for the time, the model can be used from Era 3 to Era 5. The two-part gas station building can be placed back-to-back or side by side and used as a cashier's office, workshop, flower shop, etc.

Gas station including pumps, prototypical signage, and interior furnishings.

About the prototype:
This Esso gas station was designed in the early 1950s by the Dutch architect W. Dudok. Various versions of the basic architecture were used for both larger highway gas stations and smaller urban gas stations. The architecture, which still appears modern today, had a clear influence on the design of the gas stations in the 1960s and 1970s.
