NME
NME – Nürnberger ModellEisenbahnen is a German premium manufacturer of high-quality model railway freight wagons in H0 (1:87) and N (1:160) scales. The company was founded in 2013 by Rolf Fleischmann, the son of the last owner of the long-established Fleischmann model railway company. NME launched its first models in 2014 and quickly established itself as a specialist for modern freight wagons with exceptional prototypical accuracy and technical precision. The product range focuses on contemporary bulk freight, silo, and special-purpose wagons, such as... B. Tagnpps grain wagon, Uacns silo wagon, Facns ballast wagon, Laads/Laaps flat wagon or Eamnos open wagon. NME models are known for their fine printing, precise geometry, smooth running characteristics, standard-compliant coupler mounts and high-quality axles. This quality makes them attractive to both demanding model railway operators and collectors.

The company regularly produces new product programs, which are presented at trade fairs and in specialist shops. For 2025, NME announced more than 200 new items, including further developments of well-known wagon series and particularly highlight models such as the BLS car transport train No. 43, a precise replica of the real car transport via the Lötschberg line. Also released were 10-year anniversary models, including true-to-life grain wagons from partner Rail4Ward, bearing the NME logo in real-world operation. NME currently operates from Nuremberg, with a modern corporate structure and a high level of vertical integration. The models are sold through European specialist retailers and numerous online shops, including specialist dealers for modern Era V/VI freight cars. Thanks to its consistent focus on model railway realism, modern prototypes, and technical sophistication, NME is now one of the most popular brands in the field of highly detailed freight cars.
