BUSCH

BUSCH (Busch GmbH & Co. KG) is a long-established German manufacturer of model railway and model building accessories, headquartered in Viernheim (Hesse). The company was founded in 1955 and is today one of the leading suppliers in the areas of model railway scenery, landscaping, and accessories.

BUSCH achieved its breakthrough with the development of model railway accessories, which early on filled a market gap: realistic terrain parts, scatter materials, trees, streetlights, and overhead line systems. Particularly influential were the electrostatically flocked landscape elements and the true-to-life model trees, which remain a trademark of BUSCH to this day. Today, the BUSCH range comprises an enormous variety of products for the scales H0 (1:87), N (1:160), TT (1:120) and Z. This includes building kits, figures, action sets, landscape and diorama accessories, but also model vehicles in 1:87 scale, which are perfectly suited for designing model railway layouts. A special characteristic of BUSCH is its innovative spirit: Many products deliberately incorporate movement, light, or sound, thus bringing life to the layout. The range is complemented by electronic components, special effects, and themed sets that allow for the creation of realistic everyday scenes and short stories.
