BEMO
BEMO Model Railways is a renowned German manufacturer that has specialized in narrow-gauge and meter-gauge models since its founding in 1976. The company headquarters are located in Uhingen (Baden-Württemberg). BEMO is considered one of the leading suppliers of H0m, H0e, and 0m models and enjoys an excellent international reputation for prototypical accuracy and technical quality. The starting signal was given with the presentation of the V51/V52 diesel locomotive at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in 1976. Shortly thereafter, the first models of the Rhenish Railway (RhB) followed, including the legendary Ge 4/4 I – the beginning of a program focus that remains central to this day. From the very beginning, BEMO placed great emphasis on correct running numbers, period-appropriate lettering, and individual details, enabling realistic train formations. Today, BEMO's product range includes locomotives, railcars, passenger and freight cars, track, and accessories for numerous prototypes from Switzerland and Germany. The Rhenish Railway, the Matterhorn-Gotthard Railway (MGB), the Bernina Railway, the Glacier Express, and Saxon and Württemberg narrow-gauge railways are particularly well represented. Many models are available in analog, digital, or sound decoder versions. In addition to mass-produced plastic models, BEMO also offers high-quality metal and handcrafted models, as well as exclusive limited editions. With its clear focus on narrow-gauge railways, BEMO enables model railroaders to recreate alpine landscapes and characteristic mountain railways with exceptional authenticity.
