BUSCH 12011 - Field Railway Starter Set with Steam Locomotive
Gmeinder 15/18 HP open-top narrow-gauge locomotive with 2 components: a "Decauville Type 3" narrow-gauge steam locomotive and a bogie end-of-track wagon with a brakeman's platform and a load of wood (length: 70 mm), 8 curved tracks with a radius of 115 mm, 1 straight track, and 1 connecting track, each 133.2 mm. Includes a battery box with a switch (forward/reverse/stop).The narrow-gauge tracks contain an integrated metal insert to increase the contact pressure of the wheels on the rails. This ensures secure contact and high pulling power for smooth travel. The track oval requires approximately 375 x 250 mm of space. To operate the train, two 1.5 V LR6/AA batteries (not included) or a 3 V DC power supply are required. Since the locomotives consume minimal power, the batteries last a very long time.
