Kit. Prototype data: In April 1985, the company GOTTWALD presented the world's most powerful telescopic crane, the AMK 1000-103, to the public. The 10-axle mobile crane is powered by a MERCEDES-BENZ diesel engine with 425 kW/615 hp. Nine axles are steered. The transport weight is approximately 100 t. The crane superstructure is also powered by a MERCEDES-BENZ diesel engine with 186 kW/253 hp. The crane assembly consists of the boom base with directly connected luffing cylinders. The telescopic boom, which is transported separately, consists of the base boom and three telescopic sections. The roller height on the telescopic mast is 62 m. The maximum lifting capacity is 1,000 t. This requires 140 t of counterweight ballast. The original was stationed at the RIGA company in Mainz.
