Model Details

Kit. The VW Beetle Type 11, version 1302, was built from 1970 to 1972 and, with its most powerful engine, had 50 hp from a 1600 cc four-cylinder boxer engine. This model was the first to feature a more modern front axle with MacPherson struts and a modern semi-trailing arm rear axle. During the production of this model, Volkswagen surpassed Ford's Model T as the world's most produced car in 1972 with the Beetle. This special model can be assembled in two different versions: with the top closed and with the top open. The trunk lid opens to reveal the suggested engine. A white model for self-painting.
