What the ICE is to us, the TGV is to France. This family of multiple units is continuously being developed technically and visually by Alstom. One offshoot of this is the "TGV Euroduplex," capable of speeds up to 320 km/h. This designation refers to ten-car double-decker trains with two power cars and eight intermediate cars. And as the name suggests, the 134 trains in total are equipped for international service. Operating as the "TGV INOUI," they run not only on many lines in France, but also in Switzerland and Germany. You can enjoy the typical French flair on weekends, holidays, or business trips – all at high speed and in comfort. Of course, Wi-Fi is available on board, and you can enjoy a delicious coffee and a brioche in the bistro. Pure joie de vivre! Model: 4-car basic set. Both power cars (M1 and M2) are motorized. With mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion in both power cars, centrally mounted. 4 axles each are driven via cardan shafts. Traction tires. Standard built-in interior lighting. Directional triple headlights, 2 red marker lights and interior lighting operate conventionally, digitally switchable. Third headlight for French-style headlight configuration, digitally switchable (lighting function). Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. With energy storage. Driver's cabs in the power cars with interior details. Separately applied metal grab rails. Power car and intermediate car are permanently coupled in pairs with special close couplings and guide mechanisms. Additional guide mechanism in the Jacobs bogie. Directional power supply via the leading power car. Interior lighting is powered via the continuous electrical connection of the entire train. Each power car has two single-arm pantographs in different versions, each with a contact point for DB and SNCF. Pantographs are mechanically functional only, not electrically. Scale model, therefore track curves with a minimum radius of 360 mm can be negotiated with sufficient clearance. Length of the 4-car basic set: 102 cm.
