Prototype: PTT works locomotive (Postal, Telephone and Telegraph Services, Zurich-Sihlpost Post Office, Switzerland) Type DH 500, approx. Era III condition.Model: Completely newly designed model of the DH 500. Locomotive body, chassis with main frame, wheels, coupling rod made of die-cast zinc, add-on parts mostly made of metal. With mfx digital decoder, built-in, configurable energy storage. Drive on all axles. Extensive sound and light functions. Operation possible with AC, DC, Märklin Digital and DCC. Built-in high-performance motor. Drive on all axles. White 3-light headlights with LEDs alternating with red taillights, digitally switchable. Warm white switchable LED lighting in the cab. Opening cab doors, prototypical reproduction of the cab interior, cab with built-in driver figure. Metal grab rails and many other separately applied details such as: windshield wipers, bell, buffer beams with spring buffers and separately applied brake lines. Standard-fitted, remote-controlled Telex couplers at the front and rear. Telex couplers can be replaced with screw couplers (not included). Minimum radius for operation: 1,020 mm. Length over buffers: 27.8 cm. Weight: approx. 3.5 kg.
