Model Details
Prototype: Class 491 electric observation railcar, "Gläserner Zug" (Glass Train), of the German Federal Railroad (DB). Features double headlights at the front, microphones, a train radio antenna, and pantographs (both scissor and single-arm). Paint scheme: white aluminum/Olympic blue. Operating condition circa 1977.Model: Completely new design, chassis and body made of a metal/plastic combination. One bogie driven by a coreless motor. Unobstructed view through the windows. Replicated interior and driver's cab. Directional headlights (3 warm white/2 red) with maintenance-free LEDs. High level of detail with fine and elaborate paintwork and lettering. Minimum radius for operation: 195 mm. Length over buffers: approx. 93.8 mm.
Detailed, true-to-scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points. Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a power source to operate this product.
