Lenz
Lenz Elektronik has been a leading name in digital model railway control and high-quality Gauge 0 models since 1979. As a DCC pioneer, Lenz significantly shaped digital technology: The DCC format, co-developed by Lenz, was declared a worldwide standard by the NMRA in 1993. Today, the company combines digital know-how with a complete Gauge 0 program consisting of locomotives, carriages, track systems, and accessories. With Digital Plus, Lenz offers a complete system for driving, controlling, and programming – from control units and handheld controllers to decoders and feedback/switching modules. The heart of the system is the LZV200 control unit (max. 5 A, 11–22 V), which, since software version 4.0, offers an integrated decoder programmer and addresses up to 69 functions (F0–F68) per locomotive address; CV updates are conveniently performed via CV editor.
In the Gauge 0 (1:45) vehicle sector, Lenz stands for robust all-metal models with full digital features (including sound, remote-controlled couplings, and raising/lowering pantographs). The product range includes diesel and electric locomotives, express, passenger and freight cars, as well as starter sets – including regularly released new items (e.g., V36 variants, standard branch line cars, apron/Mitropa dining cars, Om12/G10).
