Revell
Revell stands for plastic model making like almost no other brand – from classic airplanes and ships to cars and military vehicles, as well as licensed themes and starter kits for beginners. The foundation was laid in the USA: Revell developed from the plastics company founded in 1943 by Lewis H. Glaser; In 1951, the 'Highway Pioneers' started the model kit boom. Revell has been represented in Germany since 1956 – today with its headquarters at Henschelstraße 20–30, 32257 Bünder – and is considered a top European manufacturer of detailed plastic models. In 2018, the Munich-based Quantum Capital Partners (QCP) acquired the brand. Since then, Revell has been part of a group that also includes Carrera (Carrera Revell Europe GmbH).
