Schuco

Schuco
Schuco is one of the most traditional and well-known manufacturers of model vehicles worldwide. The company was founded in 1912 by Heinrich Müller and Heinrich Schreyer and quickly became a major manufacturer of tin toys, clockwork models, and later, high-quality die-cast zinc models. As early as the 1930s, Schuco toys delighted collectors and children alike – especially due to their sophisticated mechanics and high-quality workmanship. Today, Schuco stands for 'Automobile Fascination in Miniature': detailed replicas of historical icons, modern sports cars, commercial vehicles, racing legends, motorcycles, and even airplanes. The models are largely handcrafted and impress with their high dimensional accuracy, precision, and collector value. Schuco relies on several product lines such as Schuco Piccolo, Classic, Edition, PRO.R, PRO.R18, Pro.R43 and many other series to appeal to both beginners and ambitious collectors.

The range includes models in many common scales – including 1:87, 1:64, 1:43, 1:32, 1:24, 1:18 and 1:12. The selection ranges from classic cars and cult vehicles such as VW Beetles, Mercedes classics or Porsche models to modern super sports cars and limited special editions. Collectors appreciate the authentic paintwork, high-quality materials, moving parts, and meticulous model execution. After turbulent decades and several changes of ownership, Schuco became part of the Simba Dickie Group in 1999, which modernized the product range and expanded it internationally. Today, Schuco is one of the leading brands in the premium model vehicle segment, with over 100 years of company history, millions of models sold, and a loyal global fan base. Whether a nostalgic tinplate model, a meticulously detailed classic car, or a high-end collector's item – Schuco combines tradition, quality, and a passion for model vehicles that are suitable for both display collectors and model car enthusiasts of all ages.
