Model scenes often captivate with small gags and surprises that aren't immediately apparent. The Falling Tree is just such a gag. Viewers are greatly surprised when, completely unexpectedly, an imposing, 17 cm tall tree falls to the ground at the edge of the model forest. The trick behind it is remarkably simple: A servo located beneath the tree makes it fall realistically, first slowly, then faster, until it finally lands with a slight rocking motion. After several seconds, the tree rights itself. This all happens after pressing the trigger button.
The Falling Tree is an impressive, extremely realistic, handcrafted wire twist tree, elaborately flocked. The included electronics connect to a standard 16V model railway transformer and are suitable for both DC and AC power.
