Model Details
New for 2026: Printed version of the 5-car BR 442 electric multiple unit of the Rostock S-Bahn in Era VI. The BR 442 "Talent 2" – the prototype of the PIKO model – has been in service in regional transport operated by DB AG and private railway companies throughout Germany since 2011. At a scale of 1:87, the distinctive front sections, bogie covers, bodywork, and the elaborately designed roof are faithfully reproduced. The drive mechanism is positioned in such a way that an almost unobstructed view through the car body remains while still ensuring good running characteristics. The multiple unit comes equipped with a PSD decoder with sound and numerous functions.Detailed, true-to-scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points. Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a power source to operate this product.
