Model Details
New for 2026: Highly detailed model of the BR 232 diesel locomotive for garden railways (G gauge), with sound. The PIKO BR 232 of the DB Bahnbau will be released in 2026 as an impressive printed version for garden railways, precisely replicating the typical appearance of the prototype. Ball-bearing, chrome-plated wheelsets, direction-dependent white/red headlights, and a complete engine room and driver's cab interior – including a driver figure – underscore the high level of detail. In the digital version, the factory-installed PSD XP sound decoder provides authentic operating sounds and allows switching of the cab, engine room, and running gear lighting. A pulsed smoke generator for realistic exhaust fumes can be retrofitted.
