With the 2278 STAR, PIKO brings a particularly powerful all-rounder diesel locomotive to the tracks of the N gauge layout. The versatile prototype of the 2200 series was at home in freight, shunting, and passenger service – the model accordingly impresses with high tractive effort, stable running characteristics, and modern technology.
