Model Details
Prototype: Class 218 diesel locomotive of the German Federal Railroad (DB). Pure orange/pebble gray livery. Road number 218 140-2. Operating condition from 1985.Model: With digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with centrally mounted flywheel. All four axles powered. Traction tires. Directional triple headlights and two red marker lights operate conventionally and can be switched digitally. Headlights on locomotive ends 1 and 2 can be switched off separately. Double-A headlight function. Cab lighting changes with the direction of travel and engine room lighting can be switched digitally. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. With energy storage. Metal grab irons on the sides and front. Buffer height according to NEM standards. Kinematic close couplings. Brake lines and screw couplings are included as separately attachable parts. Length over buffers 18.9 cm.
Matching Citybahn passenger cars can be found in the Trix H0 range under article numbers 23234 and 23235, or in the Märklin H0 range under article number 42831 (note the required wheelsets). This model is also available in an AC version in the Märklin H0 range under article number 39228.
