Model Details
Prototype: Heavy diesel-hydraulic multi-purpose locomotive class 221. German Federal Railroad (DB). Basic color: crimson red. Road number 221 126-6. Operating condition circa 1975.Model: With digital decoder and extensive operating and sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion system centrally mounted. 4 axles driven via cardan shafts. Traction tires. Directional triple headlights and two red marker lights operate conventionally; digitally switchable. Headlights on locomotive ends 1 and 2 can each be switched off separately. Double-A headlight function. Cab and engine room lighting digitally switchable. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. With energy storage. Close-coupling mechanism. Metal grab irons on the sides and front. With driver in cab 1. Length over buffers approx. 21 cm.
This model is also available in AC version in the Märklin H0 range under article number 37825.
Detailed scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points.
Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a voltage source for operating this product.
