Model Details
Prototype: Express train carriage set consists of the following 3 carriages of different types for express train D 74. 1 four-axle skirted carriage ABC4üwe, 1st/2nd/3rd class. 1 four-axle dining car WR4ü(e) of the DSG (standard design 1928-30). 1 four-axle passenger carriage C4ü, 3rd class (standard design 1928-30). Train route: D 74 Hamburg Altona - Basel SBB, for the Frankfurt-Basel SBB section. German Federal Railway (DB) and German Dining and Sleeping Car Company (DSG). Operating condition around 1955.Model: Detailed version in full length scale. Minimum radius for operation 360 mm. All carriages with factory-installed LED interior lighting, with warm white LEDs and buffer capacitor. All cars are equipped with the new close-coupling heads for lower buffer heights. Short bellows for the train end are included for replacement. Printed destination boards and running numbers. A fold-out leaflet shows the entire train and the prototypical arrangement of the individual cars within the train consist. Total length over buffers approx. 77 cm.
The express train car set 2 is compatible with the newly designed BR 01.10 express steam locomotive with new boiler, item number 22740, and can be combined with the express train cars from sets 23651 and 23626 to create the prototypical D 74.
This express train car set is also available in an AC version in the Märklin H0 range under item number 42533.
Detailed scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points. Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a power source to operate this product.
