Model Details
Prototype: Four-axle express train coach C4ü (standard design 1928-30), 3rd class, for express train D 74. Route: Hamburg Altona - Basel SBB, for the Frankfurt-Basel SBB section. German Federal Railway (DB). Operating condition circa 1955.Model: Detailed version in full length scale. Minimum radius for operation 360 mm. With factory-installed LED interior lighting, with warm white LEDs and buffer capacitor. The coach is equipped with the new close-coupling heads for lower buffer heights. A short bellows for the train end is included for replacement. Printed coach route plate and serial number. A fold-out leaflet shows the entire train and the prototypical arrangement of the individual coaches within the train consist. Length over buffers 25 cm.
This express train coach is compatible with the newly designed BR 01.10 express steam locomotive with new boiler, item number 22740, and can be combined with the express train coaches from sets 23651 and 23623 to create a prototypical D 74.
This express train coach is also available in an AC version in the Märklin H0 range under item number 42526.
Detailed, true-to-scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points. Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a power source to operate this product.
