With WINTRACK, you can plan your dream layout quickly and easily on your computer: Design the track plan, try out different route layouts, and make changes or expand your track plan step by step with the familiar ease of use of Windows. With a single mouse click, you can view the result in true 3D. Conventional planning tools can never match the drawing accuracy of WINTRACK. No CAD knowledge is required. This program also makes installing overhead lines a breeze. The complete ranges of overhead lines from Viessmann and other manufacturers are already included in WINTRACK as libraries. Install track masts, crossbeams, and much more with just a few mouse clicks. With version 17.0 3D, a 3D view can be displayed for any track plan with minimal effort. This view allows you to examine the model railway from any angle. A look at the layout's basic structure and substructure is possible at any time. Furthermore, you can create buildings and vehicles in 3D and integrate them into your layout design. Act as an architect, engineer, or landscape planner: In addition to over 200 symbols such as train stations, engine sheds, signal boxes, coaling facilities, water towers, various residential buildings, churches, castles, different types of lights, trees, and forests, you can design your own 3D models. Custom surface textures are also possible. Roads can even be given a 3D profile. A library is available for every track gauge. Elements from the Faller Car System and PlayStreet are included in H0 scale. Similar road elements are available for other gauges. The current version is more user-friendly, easier to operate, and includes even more features. It offers additional design options through retaining walls. It's also possible to simulate a journey in the locomotive cab or by car through the planned layout. Finally, the software's features include the calculation and 1:1 printing of frame members.
