Model Details

Compatible with the Viessmann Commander, the Märklin digital system (Märklin interface and memory), the Uhlenbrock Intellibox, and the Fleischmann Twin-Center. The decoder's eight inputs can be directly connected to the track sections to be monitored for track occupancy detection or for triggering memory or IB-Switch functions and routes in the Commander. Integrated electronic track occupancy detectors register every current-consuming vehicle (locomotives, illuminated wagons, or wagons equipped with resistive wheelsets) on these isolated sections. For this purpose, the center rail is isolated in three-rail systems, or one rail profile in two-rail systems. Optocouplers in the module increase operational reliability. Furthermore, the track voltage is monitored, ensuring that occupancy detection is retained even during a power outage. A 15 cm long flat cable with an S88 connector is included.

Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a power source to operate this product.
