Model Details
The IR scanner is a locally deployed sensor unit for capturing vehicle-related information at defined points along the route. While driving, it records relevant vehicle data in real time and makes this information immediately available to the traffic infrastructure. This enables situation-dependent control of lanes, access points, and special zones – precise, automated, and efficient. Continuous data acquisition allows for the targeted differentiation of traffic flows. For example, short vehicles can be preferentially directed to inner-city areas, while long vehicles or vehicles with trailers are automatically routed to alternative routes. It is also possible to grant access exclusively to certain vehicle types, such as allowing buses to enter bus stops while other traffic is routed around them. Vehicles with low battery levels can be directed to inductive charging zones, while vehicles with sufficient range do not disrupt traffic flow. The result is more efficient use of the infrastructure while simultaneously relieving congestion in sensitive traffic areas.Detailed, true-to-scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care.
