Model Details
Enhance your CarMotion system with in-vehicle sound. The retrofittable sound modules are vehicle-specific and therefore mechanically, color-wise, and acoustically adapted to the respective models. They play engine sounds from starting and stopping, as well as various driving-related sounds such as gear changes, brake squeal, and – depending on the vehicle type – a reversing warning signal. The horn – and, if present – the siren – can be switched on and off. The engine sound volume is adjustable. The switchable and adjustable sounds can be activated via remote control, DCC command, or infrared command/magnet sequence. The sound module's circuit board is simply connected to the vehicle's circuit board using a four-pin connector and screwed in place. The existing left-side attachments, such as the exhaust, air tanks, etc., are replaced by the new attachments, which contain the speaker. Please note that vehicles without the four-pin expansion socket cannot be equipped with a sound module. Power 250 mW, efficiency 81 dBA, frequency range approx. 800 – 10 kHz. Compatible vehicles: 8040, 8160. L 2.5 x W 1.2 x H 1.1 mmDetailed scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points.
Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a power source to operate this product.
