Model Details

WIKING is expanding its container range with consistent model-making. Two 20-foot containers are now following – one in the Evergreen shipping company colors, the second in the livery of the CMA-CGM shipping company. An Evergreen container ship first unloaded at Hamburg's Burchardkai in 1979. Today, around 150 container ships sail worldwide for the Taiwanese shipping company, which now even has offices at five German locations. CMA-CGM, on the other hand, focuses on Asian routes to Africa, Northern Europe, and the Mediterranean ports. The New Generation (NG) also features extensive printing this time, extending far beyond the shipping company logo. The container specifications on the rear can now also be found.
