Now with "Messageries Maritimes," "Clou," and "Interpool" – the WIKING container fleet is receiving welcome new additions. The accessory set includes two 20-foot containers – in the standard and open-top versions – as well as a typical 40-foot container. WIKING collectors well remember the brand's chronology, which took on a completely new logistics theme at the end of the 1960s: The first container trains with 20-foot and twice the size 40-foot containers were miniaturized by WIKING and loaded onto a variety of trailers. It was only natural that numerous industrial orders would follow over many years, especially since WIKING was very aggressively advertising the car models as "promotional gifts" for customers of those years. The wide selection of models was reflected in the product range well into the 1980s – a popular collector's theme was born! WIKING also had an accessory set available back then, which is now being revived and thus expanding the design options for collectors. Containers from the early days of Atlantic traffic are miniaturized in reference to old WIKING advertising campaigns.

Technical details

40 ft. container with light gray roof and doors. Sides printed in traffic red and black with the "MM" logo, "Messageries Maritimes" lettering, and "SLTC" with an identification number. 20 ft. open-top container with green walls and a leaf green roof. Sides printed in rapeseed yellow with "CLOU" and an identification number. 20 ft. standard container in signal blue with signal blue container doors. White print on the side with the Interpool logo and identification number.
