100 incredible horsepower under the hood transformed the otherwise rather family-oriented VW K70 into a sports sedan – the fast, then highly popular sports model was intended to make a statement. The Wolfsburg-based automaker had certainly recognized the need for more powerful engines at the beginning of the 1970s, as the K70 was meant to fill this gap for two years. In its last two years of production, the K70 therefore acquired the suffix "LS". This was proof of its high-speed capabilities, but it didn't change the fact that the rather boxy sedan's career within the company was soon over. The K70, developed before the takeover of NSU, remained in production until 1974. WIKING revitalizes the original WIKING molds and gives the K70 the sporty look of those "LS" years with typical sports decals.

Black decorative stripes on the sides. Silvered door handles, fuel filler cap, and window surrounds.Detailed scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points.
