Prototype Information
The Claas Carat 180 TD, with its 18-ton gross vehicle weight, was the result of a long-standing collaboration in the 1990s between the Dutch agricultural machinery company Kamps de Wild from Zevenaar and the harvesting experts from Harsewinkel. The Dutch were experts in building tipper trailers for the demanding agricultural applications that gained importance in the 1990s, particularly due to increasing volumes. Identical tipper trailers from both Kaweco and Claas were a common sight on farms. WIKING enthusiasts will recall that the Claas forage wagon was among the first large-scale models in the traditional model makers' agricultural range when it was introduced 30 years ago.
Model Details
Chassis with roll bar, cylinder, and support leg, as well as tipper body in Claas green. Tipper body and ladder in gray-white. Rims in red. Red trough print on both sides with the "Claas" brand name and the type designation "Carat 180 TD". Red Claas lettering and carmine-red printed taillights on the rear.Detailed scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points.
Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a power source to operate this product.
