Prototype Information
This is how Kaelble owners liked it best – in the factory's maize-yellow colors, from chassis to tipper body. The Meiller lettering on the tipper body was a must at trade fairs and presentations. Credit where credit is due! WIKING is recreating the widespread and successful Kaelble KDV 22 E model, built from 1961 onwards, based on a contemporary prototype. An unprecedented variety of engines was offered for the KDV 22 E – all within the 200 to 300 hp range. And this horsepower figure was prominently displayed on the dominant radiator grille, directly below the Kaelble lettering, making a strong and distinctive statement. This Kaelble has earned its place as a model-making monument. When it came to power, robustness, and horsepower, the tipper manufacturer from Backnang remained a top name for many decades – on the international market. The 19.1-liter engine made the sandy soil tremble with a total weight of 37.5 tons.

Cab with hood and tipper frame with lifting cylinder and tipper body in corn yellow. Chassis, radiator grille, rims, and fenders also in corn yellow. Interior and air intake in black-gray. Silver lettering on the front with Kaelble lettering and 300 hp rating. Tipper body front with black Meiller logo. Silvered headlights, taillights printed in carmine red. Steps on the cab are colored black-gray.Detailed scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points.
