Prototype Information
For WIKING founder Fritz Peltzer, it was meant to have a practical use, but then it became love at first sight. Model railroaders have embraced the electric cart for decades. Hardly any other WIKING model was as widespread on German model railways as the Still electric cart on the platforms of the former German Federal Railway. This was also due to its intricate model-making. The Still electric cart was in use at the DB (German Federal Railway) and in industrial plants back then – with two trailers, the three-part set looks just as authentic today as WIKING enthusiasts appreciated it back in the 1960s. Undoubtedly, the Still electric cart is one of the quiet but unforgettable classics in 1:87 scale, which can still be assured of quiet adoration among collectors today. WIKING has revitalized the designs and given the tractor unit two trailers.
Model Details
Tractor unit upper and lower sections in green-blue, trailer chassis with turntables in green-blue, gray flatbeds with a plank look glued on. Steering wheel in black, tow hook in green-blue. Drawbar made of metal. Front headlight hand-silvered, also three stripes and the word "Still" in silver.Detailed scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points.
Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a voltage source to operate this product.
