Prototype Information
The riot police were somewhat self-sufficient when it came to handling transport tasks. In many German states, forklifts were part of the fleet from an early stage, serving as helpful specialized vehicles, and they rarely left police premises. WIKING used the Esslingen forklift from the 1960s as its model. It had already undergone the paint change from dark fir green to the light service green of the 1990s.
Model Details
Main body with chassis and lifting frame in mint green. Steering wheel black, lifting forks anthracite gray. White protective bar inserted. Blue transparent warning light attached. White police lettering on the sides. Silver rims.Detailed, true-to-scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points. Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a power source to operate this product.
