WIKING 117102 - Forklift (Clark) - red

Prototype Information

Its licensed home was the Ruhr region, its destination the transport depots of the young Federal Republic of Germany. This was the plan of Clark's US owners when they followed the Allied forces from the USA to Germany after the war. Model maker Alfred Kedzierski created the Clark forklift in 1:25 scale in the early 1950s. Some 65 years later, this has been transformed into a delicate 1:87 scale forklift, reminiscent of the lifting equipment generation of the post-war years. Sometimes, little thought is needed, as WIKING itself built the most beautiful prototypes. This forklift also features a tilting mast with movable forks. Furthermore, a separate seat and a new steering wheel with attached console have been added.
