Prototype Information
This WIKING model presents the Ford Transcontinental for the first time in an adventure look – a successful premiere! To match this, the traditional model makers have adorned the once rather unassuming tractor unit with all sorts of exterior details – the Transcontinental gains its visual impact thanks to the superb finishing. The accessories include the front bull bar, opulent exhaust pipes, and a typical roof rack. In addition, there is a striking design with extensive decorative striping. Last but not least, WIKING has given the tractor unit enhanced racing truck rims.
Model Details
Cab upper and lower sections are rapeseed yellow. Radiator grille, chassis including driveshaft section are black, rims and roof rack are rapeseed yellow. Interior including steering wheel is black. Bull bar and exhaust pipes are black, horn is silver. Headlights are silvered, taillights are red. Turn signals are traffic orange. Front: Silver Ford lettering and surrounding silver stripe. Curved, light gray decorative stripe on the front and sides.Detailed scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points.
