BUSCH 25020 - Messerschm.Bf 109 G2, Museum Gatow

The aircraft was originally delivered to Spain in 1943 and first used between 1953 and 1963, including in the African colonial territories. In 1968, it saw its final flight in the film "Battle of Britain." What makes the Messerschmitt with the "Yellow 4" special is its markings with a third chevron for the commander. The crest is that of II. Jagdgeschwader 27 and therefore fits its location in Berlin Gatow, where the aircraft is now located in the museum. It was restored to its current condition after being presented to the museum as a gift from Spain.
