Model Details
On December 24, 1818, the village schoolteacher and organist Franz Xaver Gruber and the assistant priest Joseph Mohr performed the famous Christmas carol for the first time in St. Nicholas Church in Oberndorf near Salzburg. At the turn of the century, St. Nicholas Church was demolished and the Silent Night Memorial Chapel was built in its place. The original Silent Night Memorial Chapel in 1:87 H0 scale by Vollmer is a kit with many extras, such as an LED for interior lighting and artificial snow. Dimensions: L 11 x W 8 x H 16 cm.Detailed, true-to-scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years.
