Model Details
The name has always been legendary among motorboat enthusiasts. Under the Evinrude brand, outboard motors were produced in the USA under various names and sold worldwide. The founder, Ole Evinrude (1877–1934), an engineer originally born in Norway, was also an early namesake. Hundreds of thousands of engines later bore his name. And the US Chevy, which WIKING miniaturized based on the 1950s model, also represented the successful years of this outboard motor, which impressed with its power and speed. WIKING founder Fritz Peltzer had the 1955/56 Chevrolet truck miniaturized and integrated this miniature and other reference models based on American models into the product range. The WIKING founder was drawn to the Chevrolet because, with its pointed fenders and abundant engraved decorations, it fit the stereotype of American trucks.Technical Details
