"WIKING Worlds – Car Models with Collecting Passion" – this is the title of the new book document marking the 75th anniversary of WIKING model making. 75 years of WIKING – since then, new WIKING worlds have been created time and again, both impressive and fascinating. On 192 pages, extensive photo documentation – including many panoramic images – conveys a vivid impression of those WIKING worlds, which captivate the viewer with their creative and impressive presentations. They are evidence of the tremendous passion of the people for whom WIKING has often become a lifelong companion. Generations have not only transformed the WIKING brand and its miniatures into a model myth, but have also been inspired by their unique charm. Thus, over the past decades, new model worlds have been created time and again, as well as stories surrounding WIKING model making. Added to this are authentic eyewitness accounts and in-depth background reports on the development of the legendary model workshops. But previously unpublished insights into the WIKING archive also give car and model enthusiasts an insight into what defines Germany's most traditional car model brand in the 1:87 scale – the endless desire to collect and palpable passion. The extensive sample cards from the mold archive, containing the original sprues, are also documented.
