Model Details
The air-cooled Deutz diesel roared beneath the body of the Magirus Transeuropa driver's cab. Indeed, the tractor unit served the heavy-haulage specialist Toense for years, providing rewarding haulage work. Particularly striking at the start of series production was the stepped long-distance driver's cab, which offered the driver significantly more comfort than the previous Magirus generation, given the demands of the time. WIKING miniaturized the then-innovative long-distance haulage version of the Magirus 235 D based on historical documents from 1963. Magirus's cab-over-engine generation was presented at the IAA in 1963 and, thanks to its reliable, air-cooled Deutz engines, quickly found its way into numerous haulage fleets.Technical Details
