BUSCH 25011 - Messerschmitt Bf 109 F4 "Captured GB"
Captured aircraft of fighter pilot Oswald Fischer (see also item no. 25010). Due to relatively low British interest in the aircraft, it was not repaired until August 1943, fitted with a new engine, made airworthy again, and painted in the then-typical RAF color scheme for captured aircraft. It is noteworthy that the white 11 and the bomb symbol remained on the fuselage. Given the serial number NN644, the white 11 was incorporated into No. 1426 Flight (Enemy Aircraft), where it remained until January 31, 1945, when it was subsequently taken over by the Central Fighter Establishment. It was presumably heavily damaged there over time and subsequently scrapped.
