BUSCH 12379 - Bucket Chain Excavator
Bucket chain excavators excavate the material in open-cast mines using buckets attached to and driven by an endless chain. The chain is usually driven by a powerful electric motor. This rolling model without a motor reproduces all the elements of the full-size model from the "Orenstein & Koppel" company in detail: boom with buckets (swivels 45°), driver's cab, roller head with guy wires, and a wooden box for holding the counterweights. The sideways movement of the bucket chain excavator when excavating the material takes place on standard H0 rails without bedding (not included) using metal axles and wheels underneath the bucket chain excavator. The original bucket chain excavator is on display in the "Erbs Brickworks Museum" near Leipzig. Kit.Size: 140 mm x 32 mm, 55 mm high.
