Sporty elegance and unmistakable design. A vehicle that couldn't be more harmonious in color and shape. The two-seater coupé and convertible with its "distinctly sporty touch" was announced in a press release dated November 12, 1937, although it wouldn't be available before May 1938. The shortage of raw materials before the outbreak of the war was already making itself felt, and so this news seemed very premature. The new 327, with its narrow emergency bench seat in the rear, replaced its predecessor, the BMW 326, with its newly conceived sporty design. The 327 series, like all BMW models, was produced in Eisenach (East Germany) until 1945, where this beautiful model celebrated its resurrection after the war, first as a BMW and then, from 1952, as the EMW 327/2 (convertible) or 327/3 (coupe). The model of this beautifully designed classic car appears in a true-to-scale, highly polished appearance with intricate detailing and the finest chrome plating, reflecting the splendor of a bygone era. The models from the CMD Collection impress with their numerous small printed details, such as the BMW logos on all hubcaps, as well as super-fine trim strips and door handles.
