BUSCH 43483 - Cadillac '52 Station Wagon »Metallica«, Green

1952, the Bild newspaper appears for the first time on June 24th! Did it also report on the beautifully designed Caddie? The American dream car of the Series 62 with the large "V" (standing for the V8 engine) on the hood was offered in four different versions: coupe (two-door), sedan (four-door), convertible and hardtop, as well as the station wagon. All models were huge sales successes for the "Henry Ford Company," founded at the turn of the century by Henry Ford and Henry M. Leland. H. Ford (then technical director) probably couldn't have dreamed of this when he left the company just a short time later. Leland named his company, which he now owned solely, the "Cadillac Automobile Company," loosely after Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac, the French-born founder of Detroit. As early as 1909, the company became a member of the new General Motors group for $4.5 million in cash. The company experienced many ups and downs, and today, as part of its rebranding as Cadillac, it is once again present in Europe. The beautiful models are available in various versions and colors, featuring elegant color combinations and finely printed trim.
