Model Details

Cork Track Beds
"Cork track beds" for H0 gauge (1:87 scale) are a true model railway classic: They are ideal as a stable and noise-dampening base for track without ballast, such as MÄRKLIN® K-track or PIKO® A-track. The track beds are easy to install: We recommend NOCH latex adhesive for bonding. The various NOCH ballasts are perfectly suited for subsequent ballasting of the track beds.
Product Highlights:
• Realistic height of the track bed• Noise-dampening and easy to install• Matching molded parts for Märklin® K-tracks available
Note: All "cork track beds" are supplied without tracks and turnouts.

Note: Model building item. Not a toy! Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points.

NOCH 09372 - Track ballastModel DetailsRealistic as real track ballast!Balcony and stones play a very important role in the realistic design of model landscapes. Track ballast is usually mined regionally and therefore reflects the color of the rocks and stones of that region. With NOCH's PROFI ballast varieties, you can, among other things, ballast your track beds with extreme realism. With a grain size of 0.5–1.0 mm and a content of 250 g, this ballast is ideal for realistic track bedding. The natural coloring ensures an authentic appearance for your model landscape. NOCH 09374 - Track ballastModel DetailsRealistic as real track ballast! The NOCH "Track Ballast" (item no. 09374) is the perfect choice for realistic track bed design in HO scale. With a fine grain size of 0.5–1.0 mm, it deceptively replicates the ballast bed of the tracks and ensures a true-to-life appearance. The dark color gives your model railway a particularly authentic look and makes the scene appear more vibrant. The ballast is easy to work with: It is evenly distributed along the tracks and then fixed in place with a mixture of water, dish soap, and diluted white glue. This ensures it stays permanently in place and provides a stable base for your trains. Whether on main lines or branch lines – this high-quality model railway ballast takes your track layout to the next level and creates a realistic overall picture.Note: Model building item. Not a toy! NOCH 53001 - LAGGIES track helix complete kit, basic circle,Model DetailsLaggies Helix - the space-saving and stable method for changing levels. The assembly circle in HO scale with a track radius of 360 mm, single track. Each helix can be built with a right-hand or left-hand incline. The complete kit includes all necessary supports, track segments, and detailed assembly instructions. You need one base circle for each helix. The number of assembly circles required depends on the height you want to bridge. What exactly is a helix? A helix is a spiral track in which a train travels from one level to a lower or higher level. The train travels down or up the helix. The helix has the same gradient at every point, so even long trains can easily overcome large differences in elevation. When do you need a helix? The applications are very diverse. Here are some examples:To reach a lower or higher level. To access a hidden staging yard below the layout. To connect two layouts at different heights. How is it ensured that the trains do not derail in the curves of the helix? The outer curves of the helix are superelevated by 3 mm. This significantly improves running safety and reduces rolling resistance. What versions of LAGGIES helixes are available? Helixes are offered for H0 and N gauges – precisely adapted to the specific requirements of each railway manufacturer. All helixes can be built with either a left- or right-hand incline. How can I bridge larger height differences with a helix? A so-called base circle is required for every helix. This base circle includes the entrance to and exit from the helix. Any number of extension circles can be placed on top of this base circle – depending on the height difference the train needs to overcome. The base circle: The base circle comprises 1 1/2 circles. A single base circle provides the necessary clearance height as well as entry and exit points. The extension circle: The extension circle comprises a full circle. Any number of extension circles can be placed on top of a base circle. This allows even the greatest height differences to be easily overcome in a very small space. What does the LAGGIES track helix consist of? The kit includes precisely milled track segments made of 4 mm thick plywood and cleverly designed, interlocking stands and brackets.Note: Model building item. Not a toy! A track helix is a spiral in which a train travels from one level to a lower or higher level. The train travels down or up the track helix. The track helix has the same gradient at every point, so even long trains can easily overcome large differences in height. When do you need a track helix? The possible applications are very diverse. Not a toy!
