Model Details
New for 2026: With the DB Class 184.1 in Era IV, PIKO brings the locomotives known as the "European locomotives" to H0 scale. Equipped for various electrical systems in Germany, France, Belgium, and Luxembourg, these locomotives significantly facilitated cross-border traffic. The PIKO model is a fitting tribute to this locomotive. A glance at the detailed roof features delicate metal pantographs, mounted on the roof without visible screws. The sides are adorned with fine mesh and engravings. The cab door offers a view into the meticulously detailed engine room, which is ideally illuminated by appropriate lighting. The cab lighting is also digitally switchable. Looking under the locomotive body, the bogies reveal numerous separately applied components. The overall impression is rounded off by the clean paintwork and the crisp printing. The PIKO Expert model comes factory-equipped with a PIKO PSD XP sound decoder and features numerous vehicle-specific sounds.Detailed, true-to-scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points.
Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a power source for operating this product.
