Model Details
New for 2026: The BR 62 was the result of the Reichsbahn Central Office's efforts to develop a series of standard locomotives for various applications. Based on the never-built BR 20, a high-speed, two-cylinder, superheated steam tender locomotive with a 2'C2' wheel arrangement was developed. The contract for the construction of the locomotives was awarded to the Henschel company, which delivered a total of 15 locomotives in 1928. The DRG initially only took delivery of 62 001 and 002 and used them in the Ruhr area. The remaining 13 locomotives were not put into service until 1932. This is the German Reichsbahn version from Era IV. With realistic sound and many functions. Equipped with a steam generator.Detailed, true-to-scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care.
