Model Details
New for 2026: With the T 9.3 in the DRG BR 91.3 version, a versatile locomotive from the golden age of rail travels onto H0 scale tracks. Successfully used in real life for both freight and passenger trains as well as shunting, the PIKO model also impresses with its universal use on the layout. The Expert steam locomotive leaves little to be desired in terms of construction, taking into account all the structural and visual features of the prototype. The cab roof is rounded, and the windows below offer a view of the meticulously detailed interior. Numerous freestanding components, such as a whistle on the roof, the bell on the boiler, and true-to-life lamps and wiring, demonstrate model making of the highest quality. The same applies to the chassis with its fine die-cast zinc wheels and delicate brake linkage.Detailed, true-to-scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points. Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a power source to operate this product.
