Model Details
New for 2026: With the T 9.3 in the Rh 75 livery of the NS in Era III (formerly BR 91.3 DRG), a versatile locomotive from the golden age of railways rolls onto H0 scale tracks. Successfully used in real life for both freight and passenger trains as well as shunting, the PIKO model also impresses with its universal application on the layout. The Expert steam locomotive leaves little to be desired in terms of construction, taking into account all the structural and visual features of the prototype. The cab roof is rounded, and the windows below offer a glimpse of the meticulously detailed interior. Numerous freestanding components, such as a whistle on the roof, the bell on the boiler, and true-to-life lamps and wiring, demonstrate model making of the highest quality. The same applies to the chassis area with its fine die-cast zinc wheels and delicate brake linkage. The factory-integrated PIKO PSD XP sound decoder allows for the switching of lights in the cab and chassis area. Additionally, a digitally controlled, flickering LED in the firebox area simulates the glowing red coals. All lighting, including the directional headlights, uses modern, maintenance-free LED technology. The numerous, vehicle-specific sounds ensure authentic model railway operation.Detailed, true-to-scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts that may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points. Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a power source to operate this product.
