Model Details
New for 2026: Metropolitan DB AG in Era VI. From the outside, the models impress with their elegant appearance, which is in no way inferior to the prototype. The perfectly flush-mounted, crystal-clear windows offer a view into the interior. All carriages feature individual, perfectly coordinated interior fittings. Further highlights include the sharply engraved bogies and the detailed carriage underframes. Three-dimensional engravings and a prototypical paint finish with crisp lettering perfectly complete the exterior impression. On the layout, the powerful BR 101 locomotive pulls the train set smoothly along the tracks. All carriages also feature harmonious indirect interior lighting to create a pleasant atmosphere. The four-piece train set consists of a Class 101 express locomotive, two passenger cars, and a Class 931 express train control car. For prototypical operation on your layout, the model comes equipped with a matching PSD XP sound decoder. The perfect complement is the #28350 car set. These items were produced in cooperation with Gebr. Märklin + Cie. GmbH, Göppingen. A corresponding AC Metropolitan train set can be found in the Märklin H0 range!Detailed, true-to-scale model for adult collectors. Handle with care. Not suitable for children under 14 years. It contains small parts which may pose a choking hazard, and some components have functional sharp points.
Only a toy transformer manufactured according to VDE 0570-2-7/DIN EN 61558-2-7 may be used as a power source to operate this product.
